«...Currently, enormous intellectual and financial power is aimed at research and development of the Polar Regions. A full potential of these areas is not uncovered, and because of severe climate and unfavorable life conditions they are still poorly understood. The Polar Regions now are a center of scientific cooperation and a battleground for leading state economies. I, as a young scientist, want to contribute to the research, conservation and management of these areas. To my mind the master’s program ‚СORELIS’ should help me to deepen the gained knowledge and skills necessary for work in the Arctic and Antarctica, and ability to apply various research methods will open broad opportunities for further employment.»
